In cultivating moringa trees alongside other crops, the small holder farmers can expand their income sources and support their communities while protecting nature and biodiversity. This agroforestry model also helps the land by contributing leaflitter, which enriches the soil; providing shade; reducing evaporation and erosion; and creating a habitat for birds and insects.
